The family of the late Winifred Hughes wish to express their profound thanks and appreciation to all those who offered support and sympathy to them during their sad loss. To all our wonderful family, friends and kind neighbours whose support and help was invaluable over the wake and funeral and indeed throughout Mummy’s life. To all those who attended the wake/funeral, brought mass/sympathy cards and floral tributes we thank you. Thanks also to the individuals and businesses who brought gifts of food and to the ladies who served the tea.
Special thanks to Fr McKeever for officiating at a very personal and beautiful Funeral Mass, your kind words brought much comfort to us. Thanks also to Catherine Hughes and Dermot McCusker for the music that enhanced the Funeral Mass and in particular the recessional piece. Thanks to the Sacriston and parish team for preparing the church for the funeral.
We express our gratitude to Dr Watters and Staff, Keady District Nursing Team and Marie Curie whose attention enabled mummy to be comfortably nursed at home. A very special thanks to the carers from the Trust Domicillary Team and at the risk of offending anyone we must mention Ann, Kathleen and Carol for their exemplary care to Mummy.
Finally to Sheils for the beautiful post burial meal and to Mone Funeral Directors for the complete and professional handling of all the funeral arrangements. We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a sincere token of our appreciation.
Winifred’s Month’s Mind Mass will be held in St Patrick’s Church, Keady on Monday June 20, 2022 at 7pm.
