Acknowledgement for the late Una Carvill (Middletown)

Carvill Una, (nee Nugent). The family of the late Una Carvill wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us through our recent bereavement of our dear Mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother, sister and aunt.

We are extremely grateful to the carers and community nurses for all their love, fun, support and dedication shown towards Una during her sickness. We would like to thank Dr. Watters, Keady and his team for the kindness shown to Una throughout her illness.

To our parish priest; Fr Sean Moore, for his many visits and time spent with Una in her final weeks. Special thanks to Fr. Colum Curry who also visited Una. Also to Fr. Arkinson, Donegal and Fr. Martin, Glaslough who concelebrated a memorable funeral mass with Fr. Moore.

Sincere thanks to those who sent mass and sympathy cards, called, messaged, visited the wake & those who lined the funeral route. Thanks to those who joined us at the Mass or via the webcam, and those who left kind messages through social media. Heartfelt thanks to our relatives, friends and neighbours in the local and wider community who helped out in so many ways.

We convey our appreciation to everyone who assisted with the Mass, especially our musician Catherine Grimley and Dermot McCusker who provided the beautiful music.

Thank you to Eamon and Martin (E.C Hughes Undertakers) for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the grave diggers for preparing Una’s final resting place.

Thanks to Basil Shiel’s for the funeral meal and thanks to anyone who dropped off scones, sandwiches and buns during the wake.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude to all who helped in any way.

Una’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Johns Church, Middletown on Saturday August 27, at 12 noon. The mass will be streamed live on MCN.

“Our Lady pray for her”.
