Acknowledgement for the late Tommy Dynes (Middletown)

Dynes, Tommy.

The family of the late Tommy Dynes (Middletown) wish to thank all those who sympathised with them during their sad bereavement.

To all our wonderful family, friends and kind neighbours whose help and support was invaluable.

To all those who attended the wake and funeral and recounted stories of how Tommy’s life impacted them we thank you.

Thanks also to the very many people who brought mass cards and travelled a distance to convey their sympathises in person.

We thank also the medical and nursing professions both in CAH & DHH and in the Community who attended Tommy’s health needs in the most compassionate and professional way. Massive thanks also to the Domiciliary Care teams for their support and uplifting demeanour in our home.

Words seem inadequate in conveying our thanks to Fr Sean Moore for his pastoral care to Tommy and us all as a family and for celebrating a very personal funeral mass.

We also commend him for accompanying us to the Crematorium where he delivered a prayerful Liturgy. The mass was greatly enhanced by the music provided by The Gribben Sisters and we acknowledge with gratitude the Sacristan for preparing the church.

Finally to Bridget, Caolan and BJ from Mone Funeral Directors for their dignified and professional handling of all the funeral arrangements.

At the risk of failing to mention someone we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a sincere token of our appreciation.

Tommy’s month mind mass will be held in St John’s Church Middletown on Saturday September 7, at 7:30pm.
