Keep up with Armagh i

Acknowledgement for the late Tom McNally (Middletown)

McNally, Tom.

Bronagh, TJ, Eoin and the entire family and friends would like to thank all who sympathised and supported us on the loss of our beloved Tom.

We appreciate everyone who helped us in our time of grief. We thank our kind neighbours and close friends who supported us, not only during Toms illness but also after his death. We are eternally grateful for your support.

Thanks to all who helped during the wake and funeral including those who sent mass and sympathy cards, messages of condolences, floral tributes, brought food or helped in any way with parking. A special mention to Andrew McArdle and Paddy Hughes for the use of their land.

We also thank Cordelias for the food during the wake.

We also wish to thank Middletown GAA and St Patrick’s High School, Keady for the guard of honour.

A big thanks must go to all the staff of Ward 2 North at Craigavon Area Hospital for the unbelievable care and support Tom received both during his illness and afterwards.

They certainly went above and beyond their duty of care and the kind acts of support will never be forgotten.

A sincere expression of gratitude is extended to Fr Moore for his comfort, prayers and support and also his personal and touching homily and Requiem mass for Tom.

Many thanks to all who participated in the funeral liturgy, the sacristan Martin and to Cathy Kelly and Mrs Hagan for the beautiful singing and music.

Thank you also to Eamon, Martin and Patrick of EC Hughes Funeral Directors for the professional and compassionate way they attended to all the arrangements.

Thanks must also go to Tom’s friends who prepared his grave.

We also thank The Rolling Pin who supplied the lovely refreshments after the funeral and a special thanks to Middletown Community Parish for the use of their hall.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation.

The holy sacrifice of the mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

Tom’s months mind mass will be on Saturday November 16, at 12noon at St John’s Chapel, Middletown.
