The family of the late Theresa McKillion have requested this acknowledgement is posted in gratitude and appreciation for all the support they received throughout the busy days of the wake and funeral.
Theresa’s daughter Simone (Ciaran) sons Ross (Patricia) and Evan (Jessica), and the grandchildren wish to thank all those who sympathised with them on the sad loss of a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend to very many people.
To all those who attended the wake and funeral, brought mass/sympathy cards and gifts of food/floral tributes, telephoned, messaged or posted online their condolences we assure you these were greatly appreciated.
Thank you to all our work colleagues and friends who also came in person to support us in our grief, we will be forever indebted to your kindness. We thank most especially our own family, friends and kind neighbours for your friendship and loving presence through Mummy’s life and for your help on her death. We thank all the ladies who made and served the tea throughout the busy days of the wake and to the men who directed parking and general chores.
Words seem inadequate to express our sincerest gratitude to Mummy’s friends who supported her throughout her illness, you all know who you are.
Thanks also to the Doctor Evans and the Mandeville team, the Moy District Nursing Team and the Palliative Care team.
We offer our profound thanks to Rev Fr Thomas McHugh (Clonfeacle/Moy Parish) for attending mummy during her illness and delivering very spiritual pastoral care and for celebrating a very fitting and beautiful funeral mass.
We thank also the priests of Armagh Parish for your prayerful presence. Thanks to Eilis Fox and her Organist for providing the music which greatly enhanced the funeral mass and to the sacristan.
Many thanks to Our Lady’s P.S Tullysaran and St Mary’s Lisbuoy Carland P.S for your very reverent guards of honour at the church, we were deeply touched by it.
Many thanks to Michael the Parish gravedigger for preparing the grave and to Bridget and team from Mone Funeral Directors Keady for the complete, dignified and professional handling of all the funeral arrangements.
Finally we must thank Tullysaran Hall committee for the use of the hall for the post burial refreshments and to the Benburb ladies circle who not only facilitated serving the funeral meal but who worked tirelessly over the wake. Mummy was very proud to call you all her friends.
At risk of failing to mention someone we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a sincere token of our appreciation and gratitude.
Theresa’s month mind mass will be held in The Church of the Immaculate Conception Tullysaran on Friday January 3, 2025 at 7:30pm.
