Acknowledgement for the late Sean Rice (Armagh)

Rice, Sean.

We the family of the late Sean Rice would like to express a sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement,

We are especially grateful to all those who visited our home, sent Mass/Sympathy cards and brought gifts to our home during the wake.

A heartfelt thanks to all the staff of the SWAH who looked after daddy with great care and compassion, especially for their great respect and dignity they showed to daddy and to us a family in his last few days.

Also, to Fr. Donnelly chaplain of the SWAH for his pastoral care to daddy.

Also, to all the carers of Enable Care for looking after daddy at home.

We wish to thank Fr. David for the beautiful Requiem Mass as well as his First Friday visits which meant a lot to daddy. Thanks to Fr Sean Moore, Fr Liam McKinney for attending the wake.

Archbishop Eamon Martin for attending the funeral Mass.

Fr Peter McAneley & Fr Sean Dooley for their kind letters of sympathy which meant a lot to both Mummy & ourselves.

Sincere thanks to Rumours café, Armagh City Hotel and Keegan’s bar for supplying food for the wake.

Armagh Harps GFC for the use of their hall and the chairs.

To our T’s for the catering after the funeral. To Raymond for his help during the wake.

Armagh Fisheries Club for the use of the carpark.

Sincere thanks to Hugo & Sharon McArdle & staff for the compassionate, professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

While it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our gratitude to you all.

Sean’s Month’s mind will be held in St Malachy’s Chapel on Friday January 17, at 7.30pm.
