We, the family of the late Seamus (Jem) McClatchey would like to thank everyone who sympathised with and supported us in our loss of a much loved husband, daddy, and granda.
To our relatives, friends and neighbours and further afield your kindness was very much appreciated.
Thank you to everyone who called at the house, brought food, cards, messaged and attended the funeral. (A special thanks to Cordelia who sent food for the wake).
To the staff of Tynan surgery, Tynan pharmacy and all the carers who looked after Seamus so well over the years. To the Acute Care at Home team, who enabled us as a family to care for Seamus at home, we are eternally grateful.
Thank you to the representatives of Madden GFC, Middletown GFC and the Hunts clubs who provided a
guard of honour.
To Fr Moore for attending Seamus at home, supporting us and
for celebrating Seamus’ poignant and personal Funeral Mass. Also a word of thanks to the grave diggers.
Thank you to Stephen Lappin for his beautiful singing and to Paul Ford for playing the bag pipes.
A special word of thanks to E C Hughes Funeral Directors especially Martin for the care and dignity
they took in carrying out their duties towards Seamus and ourselves.
Also to Martin and Patrica for providing the refreshments after the funeral.
There are so many people to thank and we know we cannot thank
everyone individually but please know that you all made a difficult time that little bit easier.
Seamus’ Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday October 5, at 12pm in St John’s Church, Middletown.
