Keep up with Armagh i

Acknowledgement for the late Sarah ‘Sadie’ Agnew (Armagh)

Agnew, Sadie (nee Rice)

We, the loving family of Sadie Agnew would like to express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all those who sympathised with us on the recent bereavement of our Mother, Mother-in-law, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great-Great Grandmother and Aunt.

We would especially like to thank our relations, friends, neighbours and work colleagues for their help, time, generosity and support. To all those who attended the wake/funeral, brought and sent mass/sympathy cards;
sent flowers, messaged or posted online their condolences we are eternally grateful.

Thank you to the many individuals who brought gifts of food to the wake and to Cordelia’s Chippy for their kind gesture.

A word of thanks to the Harps Club and St Vincent De Paul. A special thank you to the Very Reverend Fr Barry Matthews for his kindness, support, words of comfort and for officiating the beautiful Mass.

Thank you to Dermot, Dearbhla and Lois for the beautiful singing and musical accompaniment and to all those who took part in the Funeral Mass.

A special expression of gratitude to Hugo McArdle, his wife Sharon and the Staff of JJ McArdle and Sons Funeral Directors for their dignified, caring and professional manner in which Sadie’s funeral arrangements
were carried out and to the Grave Digger.

Finally, a sincere and very special thank you to the Staff and Nurses of Greenpark Nursing Home for the wonderful care our Mother received for nearly 20 years.

The World is a better place because of special people like you.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

“All that we are, or hope to be, we owe it to our Mother”

Sadie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday December 23 at 7:30pm in St Malachy’s Church, Armagh.
