Rollins, Sandra Elizabeth.
The family and friends of the late Sandra Rollins wish to express their sincere thanks to all those kind and thoughtful relatives, friends and neighbours who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement.
To all those who called, sent messages, letters and cards of sympathy, attended the funeral, sent donations in lieu of flowers for ‘Marie Curie’, or responded in any other way, your care, compassion and support was overwhelming and our appreciation cannot be overstated.
Special thanks to ministers, past and present, of Sloan Street Presbyterian Church, Rev. Andrew Faulkner, Rev Matthew Kelso and Rev John Keefe for their continued pastoral care, and Assistant Minister Alex Richardson for conducting the funeral service. Also, Sandra’s dear and valued friends from the congregation who kindly provided and served refreshments after the funeral service.
We also want to thank Dr AJ Wilson and the staff at The Hill Medical Group, Dunmurry, the teams of dedicated medics and support staff at Belfast Cancer Centre, and the Dept of Haematology at Belfast City Hospital, for years of exceptional care. This truly was the NHS at its best.
To the staff of Marie Curie Hospice, where Sandra spent the final weeks of her life cocooned in their love and support, words alone cannot express our gratitude for the amazing care and compassion shown to Sandra and to us.
To Alan Wray Funeral Directors for the caring, dignified and professional manner in which they seamlessly carried out the funeral arrangements, making what was a challenging time as easy as possible.
Trusting this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our heartfelt gratitude.
