Acknowledgement for the late Rose Mackin (Cullyhanna)

Mackin, Rose.

We, the family of the late Rose Mackin, wish to express our deepest thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised with us on our recent loss of Mammy/Rose.

Thank you to our friends, families and neighbours, and to all those who called to the house, sent mass cards, flowers, messages, made phone calls, and to those who generously brought food and helped in any way during the wake and funeral.

A special word of thanks to Sharon and all her team at The Memory Clinic, all the Carers who cared for Mammy with compassion and kindness both at home and in Peace Haven Residential Home and Glencarron Nursing Home.

To Drs Kevin & Brid Allen who cared for Mammy during her illness, to Crossmaglen Health Centre and all of their staff, we express our sincere gratitude for the care you showed Mammy over the years. To The Rangers GFC for the use of their defibrillator, to Dr Patrick Fee, the First Responders and the Paramedics, we will be forever grateful for your help.

Thank you to Seamus, Aisling & James at Murray Funeral Directors for their support and guidance during our bereavement – your professionalism, compassion and attention to detail made a very difficult time more bearable for our family.

A special word of thanks to Fr Brian McCreesh for conducting such a compassionate and heartfelt Mass for Mammy – your comforting words and the way you led the service brought immense comfort to our family during this difficult time.

Thank you to the grave digger, Andrew Stevenson, who carefully prepared Mammy’s final resting place, to James Murray for the beautiful flower arrangements, and to everyone who took part in the Mass in any way. To Odhran and Sionan Murphy – thank you so much for the beautiful music and singing.

A sincere word of thanks to Mona and all her staff at McEntee Catering for providing the food, and also a thank you to Cullyhanna GAA Club for the use of their facilities after the funeral.

As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation for all your support.

Mass has been offered for your intentions.

Our Lady of Knock pray for Rose, may her gentle soul rest in heavenly peace.

Rose’s months mind will take place in St Patrick’s Church, Cullyhanna on Sunday December 8, 2024 at 11.30am.
