Acknowledgement for the late Rose Carr (Lissan)

Carr, Rose. The family of the late Rose Carr wish to express their sincere thanks to all who supported them during their recent bereavement. We were overwhelmed by the expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness from neighbours, friends, past and present colleagues and all those who travelled to attend the wake and funeral, especially those from Mum’s native Carrickmore.

Firstly, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mum’s carers for their kindness and guidance during the past few years, which is greatly appreciated. We also wish to convey our gratitude to the doctors and staff of Cookstown Health Centre and to the staff of Gordons Chemists for all their support over the years.

We extend our appreciation to Fr Hughes and Fr McCann for their spiritual support and celebration of a very fitting Requiem Mass. A special word of thanks to Andrea and Patrick for the beautiful singing and music. We also thank Lissan Hall committee for the use of their premises and Bon Appetit for providing the catering after the funeral.

Finally, sincere thanks also to KM Quinn Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

We hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a small gesture of our heartfelt appreciation.

The Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday September 18, at 10.00am in St. Michael’s Church, Lissan.

Mass will also be streamed live here
