Keep up with Armagh i

Acknowledgement for the late Pauline Hegarty (Dungannon)

Hegarty Pauline, Finulagh, Castlecaulfield

The family of the late Pauline Hegarty (néeMcGahan), her husband Brendan, son Stephen, daughters Megan and Ciara, parents Eddie and Mena McGahan and sister Dana would like to thank everyone who sympathised with them on their recent bereavement.

We extend our thanks and appreciation to those who extended sympathy in person and to those who sent Mass cards and left messages of sympathy, also to those who attended the wake and funeral.

A special word of thanks to those who brought gifts of food and sent floral tributes. We are very grateful to our kind neighbours and friends who helped with traffic control and served tea and to anyone who helped out in any way during the wake.

Our sincere thanks to Fr Moore who celebrated the funeral Mass and offered a personal and heartfelt homily for Pauline and for all his support to the family since Pauline’s passing. A special word of thanks to Fr Breslin who attended Pauline in her final days and to Fr McGuckin, Fr Hannigan and Fr Meehan for all their spiritual support to Pauline and the family in their time of need.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Paudge Quinn for the dignified and professional manner in which he carried out Pauline’s funeral arrangements and for all his help and support to the family, and also to the gravediggers who respectfully prepared Pauline’s final resting place.

To Margaret Ann Conlon for her beautiful and moving singing which added so much to Pauline’s Requiem Mass, also a word of thanks to Quinn’s Corner for the beautiful meal they provided after the funeral.

A special word of thanks to Dr Santin and also the doctors and nurses at The Cancer Centre and The Bridgewater Suite at Belfast City Hospital for the care and medical assistance they all showed to Pauline and to the district nurses who attended Pauline. Also to Denver and all the staff at Torrent Pharmacy, Donaghmore, for their help over the years.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope you take this as a token of our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for all your help and support throughout our time of grief.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.

Pauline’s Month’s Mind Mass will be held on Friday, April 8 at 7.30pm in St Patrick’s Church, Donaghmore.

“Our Lady of Lourdes Pray for her.”
