Devlin, Patsy. The wife & family of the late Patsy Devlin (R.I.P) would like to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to all our kind relatives, friends and neighbours who supported us in our recent bereavement.
Our sincere gratitude to Fr. Sean McGuigan for his spiritual support and guidance and for celebrating Patsy’s beautiful requiem mass and also to Fr. Eugene O’Neill for his visit to our home.
A special word of thanks to the Eucharistic minister, the Readers, the Church Sacristan and to Maeve Glackin and Plunkett McGartland for providing the lovely music and singing which made daddy’s funeral mass so special. Thanks to Michael Kelly who kindly played the bagpipes both on the funeral route and to daddy’s final resting place which was prepared with great care and attention by the gravediggers our thanks.
The family would like to thank everyone who helped to care for daddy especially the Doctors, Nurses and staff at Stewartstown Health Centre, the staff at Kelly’s Pharmacy Stewartstown, Doctors and Nurses in Craigavon Area Hospital and The City and Royal hospitals Belfast for all the excellent care given to daddy. Thanks to the District Nurses, Marie Currie Nurses and The Hospice Nurse for their exceptional care provided to daddy and for all the support given to our family at such a difficult time.
We are indebted to all those who supported us in any way, family and friends who brought food and provided refreshments throughout the wake. Those who sent Mass cards, Sympathy cards, Letters, Messages, wreathes, floral tributes and expressed their condolences via telephone and social media. Thank you to those who stood along the route as we made the journey from our home to St Mary’s Church. We took great comfort on the day of the funeral from the support of everyone who lined the funeral cortège route from those who joined us at St Mary’s Church and from those who watched daddy’s funeral mass online.
We would sincerely like to thank Niall A Loughran Funeral Directors for their efficient, dignified and professional manner in which they carried out all the funeral arrangements during these difficult times.
As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgment will be accepted as a small gesture of our sincere appreciation. The holy sacrifice of the mass will be will be offered for all your intentions.
Finally we would like to thank everyone who donated money in lieu of flowers to the Hospice.
Patsy’s month’s mind mass will be celebrated on Tuesday January 25 at 7.30pm in St Mary’s Church Stewartstown.
