Acknowledgement for the late Patrick McCartan (Laurencetown)

McCartan, Patrick (Paddy) R.I.P. (Laurencetown). Paddy’s wife Bernie, son Damian, daughter Orla and entire family circle wish to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to all who sympathised with them on their recent bereavement.

Our heartfelt thanks to all those who called to the family home, brought food, phoned, sent messages, mass cards, sympathy cards and flowers. A very special word of thanks to all who helped Paddy throughout his illness, especially the doctors, nurses and staff in Gilford Health Centre, Parkes Pharmacy, the medical team and nursing staff in the Royal Victoria, Daisy Hill and Craigavon Area hospital.

Also, a particular word of thanks to Paddy’s sister Mary who helped and cared for Paddy during his illness.

We would like to thank Fr. Des Loughran for visiting Paddy throughout his illness and the lovely way he conducted the funeral mass.

Thanks to the choir, Marie-Thérèse the harpist, and all those who took part in the funeral mass. Thank you to Gilberry Fayre for providing lovely refreshments at Tullylish G.A.C. after the funeral.

Final thanks to Quinn Bros. Funeral Services for the compassionate and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

Paddy’s Month’s Mind Mass will be at 7.30pm on Monday May 1, 2023 in St. Patrick and St. Colman’s Church, Laurencetown.
