Acknowledgement for the late Nuala Collins (Blackwatertown)

Collins, Nuala.

The family of the late Nuala Collins wish to offer our heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement.

We were overwhelmed by the many people who attended the wake and funeral and by those that sent cards, messages, online tributes and flowers. It was a testament to how highly mummy was regarded.

We are indebted to those who were generous with their time, preparing and serving tea and refreshments. Thanks to McAnallen’s Benburb, Cordelia’s Armagh, McCanns Eglish, Hegarty’s Blackwatertown and friends and neighbours who all supplied food for the family. Thanks to The Ryandale Moy for providing food over the wake and following mummy’s funeral.

Sincere thanks to Fr John Heagney for attending mummy at home and for the personal and compassionate way in which he celebrated her funeral mass. Thank you to Fr McHugh for assisting in the requiem mass, the sacristan for preparing the chapel and the gravedigger for preparing mummy’s final resting place.

We would like to acknowledge everyone that participated in the funeral mass, those who said readings & prayers, participated in the offertory procession and the Eucharist minister.

We would especially like to recognise Nuala’s sister Maureen for her heartfelt and touching eulogy.

Sincere thanks to Kevin Farley amd Pat Treanor for the beautiful music.

Our sincere gratitude to Paudge Quinn Undertaker for the caring and professional way in which he carried out the funeral arrangements. The family are thankful for the personal touches
on mummy’s final journey to Blackwatertown.

Many thanks to KC Marquees and Eglish Parochial Hall for the use of chairs and equipment over the wake.

We are very grateful to all the professionals that cared for Nuala; ACAH team, Marie Curie Nurses, rapid response team, district nurses Dungannon, enable care services and the staff of Moy HC, all of whom showed great care and compassion for mummy.

The family would also like to recognise mummy’s many friends whose regular visits were a constant source of care and support. We are especially appreciative to Brenda Loughran, Theresa Considine and Harriet Robinson who have all been so attentive to mummy over the years.

A heartfelt thanks to Laura Quinn for her help and guidance on the evening of mummy’s passing.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Nuala’s months mind mass will be celebrated on Wednesday November 6, at 7pm in St Jarlath’s Church Clonfeacle.
