McGeown, Mick (Keady)
Mick’s sons Martin, Adrian and Patrick and the entire family circle wish to express their profound thanks and appreciation to all those who offered support and sympathy to them during their sad loss.
To all our wonderful family, friends and kind neighbours whose support and help was invaluable over the wake and funeral and indeed prior to Mick’s death.
To all those who attended the wake/funeral, brought mass/sympathy cards, gifts of flowers or who helped in any way we are most grateful. To all the people who provided traffic and parking assistance and to the ladies who made and served tea over the wake. Thanks also to the local businesses and individuals who brought gifts of food to the wake house.
Special thanks to Fr Greg who officiated at a very personal and fitting requiem mass and to Fr Kerr for his pastoral care in the previous days. Thanks to Liam and Petrina for preparing the church and to Catherine and Dermot for the beautiful music which enhanced the celebration of Daddy’s life.
We express our sincere appreciation to the Doctors and staff of Willowbank Surgery and to the medical and nursing staff of Craigavon Hospital. Also to Keady District Nursing team, Marie Curie and the Palliative Care team whose efforts collectively enabled Daddy to be cared for at home.
Thanks to Sheils’ for the post burial meal and finally to Mone Funeral Directors for the complete professional and compassionate handling of all the funeral arrangements.
At the risk of failing to mention someone we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a sincere token of our appreciation.
Micks month mind mass will be held in St Patrick’s Church Ballymacnab on Monday June 13 @7:30pm.
