The family of the late May Kelly have requested this acknowledgement is posted in thanks to very many people.
May’s immediate family Kieran, Evelyn, Jonathon, Adam and Megan wish to thank all those who sympathised with them during their recent very sad bereavement. To all our wonderful family, friends and kind neighbours whose help and support was invaluable over the wake and funeral and indeed throughout May’s life. And to that end we must commend and thank May’s sister Emily and her girls for their attentiveness and diligent care.
Thanks to all who attended the wake and funeral, brought mass and sympathy cards, telephoned, messaged or posted online their condolences we assure you these were greatly appreciated.
We thank also the many individuals and businesses from Keady and Banbridge who brought gifts of food to the wake.
Words seem inadequate to convey our gratitude to the staff of Craigavon hospital who cared for May (their former nurse colleague and friend) so compassionately and professionally. We thank also her nursing friends who were unwavering and constant in their visits and general check-ins to May.
Special thanks to the Chaplaincy service in Craigavon hospital and to the priests of Keady parish and notably Rev Fr Sean O’Neill who celebrated a very personal and fitting funeral mass. Thanks also to Catherine and Dermot for providing the music and to the sacristan team for preparing the church. We are most grateful to Keady parish for the use of the hall and for providing the post burial refreshments.
Finally to Bridget and team from Mone Funeral Directors for the exemplary and professional handling of all the funeral arrangements.
At the risk of failing to mention someone we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a sincere token of our appreciation and gratitude.
May’s month mind mass will be held in St Patrick’s Church Keady on Monday February 26, at 7pm.
