Acknowledgement for the late Maureen McMullan (Dungannon)

Armagh I Death Notice

McMullan Maureen (nee Caddoo). The Family of the late Maureen McMullan wish to thank most sincerely all those that sympathised and supported them in their recent bereavement.

Thanks to everyone who attended the wake, brought food items, flowers, sent cards and messages of comfort and support, and to everyone who attended the funeral service, particularly those who travelled some distance… this was all greatly appreciated by the family.

Special thanks to the Rev. Michael Currie (1st Cookstown Presbyterian Church) who attended mum at the Nightingale Care Home at the time of her passing, which brought great comfort to the family. Also for conducting her funeral service and burial in such a warm and spiritual manner.

Our thanks to Mr Des Buchanan for visiting mum over the years in her home and latterly in the Nightingale Care Home before his retirement. Mum thoroughly enjoyed these visits. Special thanks for his heartfelt address at her funeral service.

We also thank Mr Philip Kyle, Elder at Dungannon Presbyterian Church for his visits to mum at her home and then at the Nightingale Care home, right up till her passing. Mum looked forward to these visits and gained much from them. Also for his support and comfort to the Family at the time of mum’s passing.

A sincere thank you to the Management and Staff at the Nightingale Care Home, Dungannon for their comfort and care of mum during her time there.

A special word of thanks to Dr Garland and Staff at The Parkview Health Centre, Dungannon and also to Fiona Patterson, Parkinson’s Nurse, Southern Trust. Both were exceptional in their care of mum over the years and were a great source of ongoing support and advice to the Family.

Thanks also to the organist and gravediggers, and to Heather Robinson for providing such excellent catering at the funeral.

Our sincere gratitude to Dereck Marshall and Sons (Funeral Directors, Dungannon) for the exceptional caring, professional and dignified manner in which they carried out all the funeral arrangements.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our most sincere appreciation and thanks.

Donations in lieu of flowers remain open if desired. Made payable to Parkinson’s Society, c/o Dereck Marshall and Sons, Funeral Directors, Stangmore Park, 4A Far Circular Road, Dungannon BT71 6LW.
