Acknowledgement for the late Mary O’Hagan (Derrytrasna)

Armagh I death notice

O’Hagan, Mary RIP, Derrytrasna. We, the sons, daughters, grandchildren, and entire family circle of Mary O’Hagan wish to express our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us following our recent sad bereavement.

We are so grateful to all our relatives, friends, neighbours, and work colleagues who paid their respects outside the family home. Thanks also to those who lined the route to the Chapel on the morning of the funeral and to those who attended the funeral mass or stood outside. Thanks also to those who sent mass/sympathy cards, letters, emails or telephoned, and to those who brought food and gifts to the family home and to those who made donations. We would also like to thank Sarsfields GAC for the use of their equipment.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Canon Stevenson for his spiritual support, guidance, and prayers during the wake. We also thank him for celebrating the funeral mass. We would also like to thank Fr Maginn for his prayers and words of comfort at the wake. Thanks to Rosemary and Patsy (sacristans), Mairead Breen (florist) and to all those who participated in the mass. A special thanks to Sara O’Hara, Ellen O’Hara and Ciara Coleman for the beautiful singing and music during the funeral mass.

We extend a sincere thanks to Dr McKenna and the staff of William Street Surgery Lurgan and Campbell’s Pharmacy Lurgan for their service over the years. We are grateful to all the staff at Craigavon Area Hospital who took care of mummy during her short illness.

We would also like to thank Francie, Mary, Bernie, and Henry of Murtagh and McAlinden Funeral Directors for the dignified way the funeral arrangements were carried out. Thanks also to the gravedigger Brian Nugent.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation.

Mummy’s Month memory mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Church Derrytrasna on Saturday September 11, at 6pm.

“May she rest in peace”.
