McArdle, Mary. Mary’s husband, sons and daughters wish to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to all those who sympathised with them during their sad loss.
To all our wonderful family, friends and kind neighbours whose help was invaluable over the wake and funeral and indeed throughout mummy’s life.
To all those who attended the wake/funeral, brought mass/sympathy cards and gifts of food and floral tributes.
Special thanks to the many individuals and businesses who brought food to the wake house and in particular McGleenans Centra (Keady), Parks Catering (Newtownhamilton) and Cordelias (Armagh).
And to all those who made contributions in lieu of flowers to Southern Area Hospice Newry (SAHN) and Marie Curie we are most grateful.
Words are scarcely adequate to express our thanks to the wonderful care our mother received both at home and in hospital throughout her illness. First to the Dr’s and staff of Dundalk St Surgery Newtownhamilton and to the Markethill District Nursing Team and to the carers from Ann’s Home Care thank you.
To Southern Area Hospice who provided so much support during mummy’s stay and to the Mandeville Unit Craigavon and an especial thanks to the Palliative Care Team with the input from Marie Curie and MacMillan Team which enabled mummy to receive her end of life care at home.
Thanks also to Clarkes Chemist Newtownhamilton for their help too.
Thanks to Derek from Ar Marquee for the provision of the marquee and to Sheils/ Clady GFC for the use of the chairs and crockery/boiler during the wake and for the beautiful post burial refreshments. We must also thank all the ladies who made and served tea to our wake attendees.
Grateful thanks to our parish priest Fr Greg Carvill for his pastoral care of mummy and all the family and for officiating at a very personal and fitting requiem mass.
To Catherine Grimley Hughes and Dermot for the wonderful music which enhanced the celebration of the mass and to Eileen the Sacriston for preparing the church and Andrew the gravedigger.
Finally to Bridget Mone of Mone funeral Directors for the compassionate and professional handling of all the funeral arrangements and to Clady GFC for the humbling and very dignified guard of honour as mummy was carried to the chapel.
We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a sincere token of our appreciation.
Mary’s month mind mass will be held in St Michael’s Clady on Friday August 12, at 7:30pm and all are welcome
