Conlon, Martin. The family of the late Martin Conlon (Churriana Spain and formerly Drumrusk Tullysaran Co. Armagh) have requested that this acknowledgement is posted in gratitude
Martin’s mother Bridie, brothers Michael, Patrick, Vincent, Philip, sister Carmel (Lennon) and the entire family circle wish to express their gratitude to all those who sympathised with them during their very sad loss.To all our wonderful family, friends and kind neighbours whose help and support was invaluable over the wake and funeral.
To all those who attended the wake and funeral, brought mass cards, telephoned, messaged or posted online their condolences we assure you these were greatly appreciated.We thank also the many individuals and businesses who brought gifts of food to the wake and to the ladies who made and served the tea. We thank also the men who directed parking and for erecting the marquee.
We thank especially and most profoundly all Martin’s friends and neighbours in Churriana Spain for their friendship and support to Martin over the years, he was very much at home in your presence and to the staff of the Victoria Hospital in Malaga who cared so compassionately and professionally for Martin during his illness.
We thank the priests of Armagh Parish, and we particularly thank our family friend Fr Gates for his pastoral care of us and for celebrating a very personal and fitting funeral mass and to Mark Mohan and the musicians and Soloist for the beautiful music and singing which greatly enhanced the funeral mass. Sincere thanks to Michael Vincent for digging the grave and to Tullysaran Hall committe for the use of the hall for the post burial refreshments and to Aine Pearson for providing the food
And finally to Bridget Mone of Mone Funeral Directors for the complete and professional handling of all the funeral arrangements and to the KBRT for their input and support
Martin’s month mind mass will be held on Friday August 4, in The Church of the Immaculate Conception Tullysaran at 7:30pm
