The family of the late Martha Tomany have requested this acknowledgement is posted in appreciation and thanks.
Frankie, Amanda and Rachel and the entire Tomany and Flanagan family were overwhelmed with the support and sympathy shown to them on the sad and unexpected passing of a much loved wife, mummy, sister and friend to many people.
To all who attended the wake and funeral, brought masscards and sympathy cards, messaged or posted online their condolences, we are eternally grateful. We thank particularly all those who travelled a distance to share in our grief and convey their own personal sympathy.
Martha knew many people and touched many hearts and we thank you all for sharing your memories with us. Whilst her illness was very short she was given exemplary and compassionate care from the First Responders, the paramedics and the staff of Craigavon Hospital ICU.
No words seem adequate to express our sincere thanks to the priests of the parish and to the many visiting clergy who prayed with us. Thanks to Rev Fr Aidan McCann who celebrated a fitting funeral mass and to Amelia McCormack for her beautiful singing which added so much to the celebration of Martha’s life. We appreciate the sacristan team for preparing the church and to all who contributed to the mass.
Finally to Richard Dickson who prepared the grave in such a meticulous way, to Bridget and team from Mone funeral Directors for the complete, compassionate and professional handling of all the funeral arrangements and to The Old Coach Castleblaney for providing the post burial refreshments.
At the risk of failing to mention someone we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a sincere token of our appreciation.
Martha’s month mind mass will be celebrated in St Patrick’s Church Keady on Saturday, September 5, at 6:30pm.
