Fox, Margaret. We the family of the late Margaret Fox (Keady and Derrynoose) wish to express our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us during our sad bereavement. To all our wonderful family, friends, and kind neighbours whose help and support was invaluable to us not just over the wake/funeral but indeed throughout mummy’s life.
To all those who attended the wake/funeral, brought mass/sympathy cards and floral tributes. We particularly thank all those individuals and businesses who provided so many welcome gifts of food to us over the wake and to all the ladies who served the tea. We must also add our thanks to Derrynoose Hall for the provision of chairs.
We thank the wonderful carers who went above and beyond their duties to lovingly care for our mother at home, we can scarcely find an adequate word to thank you all. Also to the staff of Tassagh Road Medical Centre and the Acute Care Team, plus the exemplary care from Keady District Nursing Team.
To the priests of the parish Fr McKeever and Canon Crawley for the home visits and pastoral care of mummy and for celebrating a beautiful and fitting funeral mass. A special thanks to all those who participated in the mass especially all our readers and offertory bearers and in particular our Soloist and Organist (mummy’s grandchildren) whose choice of music made the requiem mass so personal and beautiful.
Thanks also to the Sacristans in Keady and Derrynoose churches for all your help and to the men who dug the grave, your efforts in the heat is massively appreciated.
Finally, to Bridget Mone of Mone funeral Directors for the compassionate and professional handling of all the funeral arrangements and to the staff of Derrynoose Community Centre for providing the much-needed refreshments after the burial.
Margaret’s month mind mass will be held in St Mohua’s Church, Derrynoose on Sunday August 14, at 10am.
