Acknowledgement for the late Majella Hughes (Granemore)

Hughes, Majella.

The Family of the late Majella Hughes RIP would like to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us following the sudden loss of our beloved Majella.

As news filtered through of Majella’s passing we were inundated with help and support from the local community and beyond. To the army of volunteers who manned carparks, directed traffic, helped in the kitchen, brought food and drinks to the wake, we are forever grateful.

To neighbours and friends who queued at our home, many for over an hour, to sympathize with us at Majella’s wake, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support.

We also thank the members of the Keady Area First Responders and the Paramedics for their valiant efforts during our darkest hour.

To the members of Granemore LGFA who formed a guard of honour for Majella we thank you sincerely for the beautiful tribute.

Thank you to Majella’s friend, Fr Greg Carville, and Fr Sean O’Neill for their support during the wake and for a most beautiful Requiem Mass.

Thanks also to undertaker Bridget Mone for her compassion, kindness and professionalism throughout the week and beyond.

Majella’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday October 18, at 7.30pm in St Mary’s Church Granemore.
