Acknowledgement for the late Louis McKenna (Keady)

McKenna, Louis.

The family of the late Louis McKenna (Keady) would like to thank all those who sympathised with them during their sad bereavement.

To all our wonderful family, friends and kind neighbours whose help and support was invaluable over the wake and funeral.

To all those who attended the wake and funeral, brought mass cards, telephoned, messaged or posted online their condolences we assure you these were greatly appreciated.

We thank also the many individuals who brought gifts of food to the wake.

Words can not express deeply enough our thanks to the Emergency services and especially the varied and many teams from the Search and Rescue organisations who facilitated the search for Louis and sadly the retrieval of his body.

Massive gratitude to the priests of the parish and in particular Fr Sean O’Neill for his prayerful presence and most especially Fr Aidan McCann who celebrated a very beautiful and uplifting funeral mass.

To Catherine and Dermot for providing the music which enhanced the mass and to Paul the Sacriston for preparing the church. We thank also Phillippa for providing the post burial refreshments and to Keady parish for the use of the hall.

Finally to Bridget and team from Mone Funeral Directors for the complete and professional handling of all the funeral arrangements.

At the risk of failing to mention someone we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a sincere token of our appreciation.

Louis’s month mind mass will be held in St Patrick’s Church Keady on Sunday January 28, at 11:30am.
