Keep up with Armagh i

Acknowledgement for the late Liz Nugent (Keady)

Nugent, Liz, RIP. Liz’s husband Paddy, daughter Lauren, son Patrick, mother Kathleen and sisters Jackie and Una and extended family wish to offer their profound thanks and appreciation to all those who offered support and sympathy to us during our very sad loss. To all our family and neighbours and friends we are indebted to you for the support and practical help we received. Thank you to all who called at the house, offered mass and sympathy cards, and brought gifts of food and floral tributes .

To all those who attended the funeral and to the large crowd who lined the route or stood outside the church we were humbled by your presence. To all of Liz’s collegues in DHH Renal Unit and the Community Renal Team for your friendship to Liz and forming the guard of honour at the Chapel, this was both overwhelming and indeed very touching, we know you feel her loss too.

To the priests of Keady and Armagh parish thank you for your prayerful presence and attendance. We thank Fr Moore from Middletown parish for his attendance at a crucial time too. And in particular to Fr Greg Carville of Cill Chluana parish for officiating at a very personal and fitting requiem mass and for your pastoral care to us as a family. We also wish to thank the Sacriston, the gravedigger who prepared Liz’s resting place and to Amelia whose music and voice greatly enhanced the funeral mass.

Finally sincere thanks to Mone Funeral Directors for the compassionate and professional handling of all the funeral arrangements.

At the risk of failing to mention someone we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a sincere token of our appreciation

Liz’s Month memory mass will be held in St Mary’s Church Granemore on Friday September 10, at 7:30pm
