Acknowledgement for the late Liam McKenna (Armagh)

McKenna, Liam.

The family of late Liam McKenna would like to express our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us on the loss of a dear husband, father and brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

We offer our heartful thanks to the many family, friends, neighbours who attended Liam’s wake and funeral and to those who provided refreshments.

We are very appreciative of all those who sent mass and sympathy cards, messages, and posted tributes online.

Special thanks to all the staff in Craigavon who cared for Liam during his last few days.

Special thanks to Father Barry for the beautiful and fitting Requiem Mass with a touching eulogy.

Thanks to Cathy Kelly for the beautiful singing and music.

Finally, a sincere thank you to Hugo McArdle for the respectful and dignified way in which he carried out Liam’s funeral arrangements and to the grave diggers for preparing the grave.

Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we would like to thank those who donated to Marie Curie. please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Liam, you will be sadly missed in our lives. we will continue to talk about you every day. We will hold you close in our hearts, and there you shall remain, to walk and guide us through our lives until we meet again.

Liam’s months mind mass will be celebrated in Armagh Cathedral April 13, at 6:30pm.
