Acknowledgement for the late Kayleigh Magee (Clonoe)

Magee, Kayleigh.

We the family of Kayleigh Magee would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to all who sympathised with us on the very sad and sudden bereavement of our dearest daughter, sister, mother, friend and fiancée.

To all of our neighbours and friends and family for your support and compassion throughout the wake, we are blown away by the kindness shown to us and will be forever grateful to each of you for navigating us through such a difficult time.

Thank you to Bert’s pizzas, uncle Sam’s and all of the local shops for providing food throughout the days of the wake. And to St.Vincent De Paul for the lovely food hamper provided- thank you.

To the large crowds of people who gathered for the day of Kayleigh’s funeral, people who have sent mass cards, messages, flowers and for the beautiful tributes posted on social media demonstrating the high regard in which Kayleigh was thought of, it gives us some comfort knowing that Kayleigh was loved and appreciated not only ourselves but so many people all over.

We would like to thank all of the Paramedics/Ambulance crew and the police service who attended to Kayleigh. We will be forever grateful for your efforts and the work you all do.

Also to the staff in ICU Craigavon Hospital, who provided quality care and and compassion not only to Kayleigh but to us all in the days we spent with her.

Thank you to Canon Fee for all of his support.
To Fr John McCallion who gave a beautiful requiem mass.

A special thank you to Deacon Kevin Duffy for all his support during the wake and for the fitting and personal way in which he spoke of Kayleigh during her funeral. We were all truly touched and will be forever grateful.

A special thank you to Briege Canavan for her beautiful singing, and all of her help with the selection of songs that were fitting and personal to ourselves and Kayleigh. Thank you also to Nuala McCormick who played piano and contributed to the beautiful songs.

To the Fianna girls (mothers and others) for your kindness.

St.Joseph’s college Coalisland for their guard of honour.

To Tonya McArdle and all of the staff at Trust home care, especially Kayleigh’s work colleagues who also provided guard of honour and supported us immensely during this time. Your care for ourselves and our dearest Kayleigh can not be put in to words- thank you all.

To Gary Harte for preparing Kayleigh’s final place of rest.

Lastly, to Patsy and Edel Taggart funeral directors for their compassion, kindness and dignified manner in which you carried out the funeral arrangements, for going above and beyond to support us all through the entire process and ensure Kayleigh’s send off was special.

As a family we are overwhelmed by the support from so many people including those who travelled so far.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as an expression of our appreciation to each and every one of you.

Kayleigh’s months mind mass will take place in St.Patrick’s Chapel, Clonoe at 7.30pm on 26th June.
Everyone is welcome to attend.

St Joseph Pray for her.
