Keep up with Armagh i

Acknowledgement for the late Kathleen Fegan (Mayobridge, Newry)

Fegan Kathleen. The family of the late Kathleen Fegan (RIP), Mayobridge, wish to acknowledge and thank everyone for their support, sympathy and gestures of kindness shown following their sad loss.

We offer our heartful thanks to the many relatives, friends and neighbours who visited our home, contacted us, sent flowers and mass cards, lined the funeral route, attended the Requiem Mass or viewed online.

To family and neighbours who provided food and refreshments, and to Mayobridge GAC for the loan of chairs, our sincere thanks.

A special word of thanks to the carers (Cora, Maureen, Bernie and Pauline) for the great care, friendship and respect they showed to mum during her illness. Thanks to Paul and staff in Mayobridge Pharmacy, Dr Megaw and Dr Irwin and staff of Rathfriland Health Centre, the staff of Magherafelt Manor Care Home and Rathfriland Manor Care Home for their excellent care. A special word of thanks also to the staff of Daisy Hill Hospital, for the dignity and respect they showed towards mum in her final days.

Thank you to Chaplain Fr Damien Quigley who attended mum in hospital, Fr Des Loughran for his attendance and support during the wake and Fr Charlie Byrne for the beautiful funeral liturgy. Thanks to Eunice Fegan for the lovely music and to Charles Digney & Sons for the dignified and professional way they carried out the funeral arrangements.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Kathleen’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday August 20, at 7.30pm in St Joesph’s Church, Sheeptown.
