Acknowledgement for the late John Jordan (Blackwatertown)

Jordan, John. (Blackwatertown) We, the family of the late John Jordan wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us during our recent sad bereavement.

We thank all those who called to the house, sent messages, sent Mass and sympathy cards, brought food, assisted at the wake or attended the Funeral Mass.

We wish to thank the doctors, nurses, healthcare assistants in South Tyrone Hospital and the Haematology Ward in Craigavon Area Hospital, in particular Dr Bridgham, Consultant Haematologist for the excellent care they provided John during his time there.

A special word of thanks to Fr. Thomas McHugh for his spiritual support, guidance and prayers and for conducting a fitting and personal funeral service for John.

We thank Gerard Cunningham and Leah Jordan for the beautiful music at the Funeral Mass.

We are very grateful to Hugo McArdle from McArdle Funeral Directors for the professional, caring and dignified manner in which they dealt with the funeral arrangements and to the gravediggers who prepared Johns resting place with care.

Thank you to St Jarlath’s Independent Pipe Band for their support and special guard of honour for John and to St Colmcilles’s GFC Grange for the loan of chairs.

Also, a special thank you to Paula and Patrick Jordan from Orange Box and the committee members of the Parochial Hall for facilitating the refreshments after the funeral service.

As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a small gesture of our sincere appreciation.

Lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his wife Josepha and the entire family circle.

Johns Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday June 9, at 7pm St. Jarlath’s Church, Blackwatertown.
