Keep up with Armagh i

Acknowledgement for the late John Joe Campbell (Armagh)

Campbell, John Joe, April 17 2022.

His daughters and sons, daughters and sons in law, grand children and the wider family circle wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all who supported and sympathised with us over the heart-breaking loss of our dad.

Thank you to all who attended dads wake and funeral, to all who sent mass/sympathy cards, gifts, food, floral tributes, phoned or commented online as this has been a great source of comfort to us to know the esteem in which dad was held.

Thank you to the ladies who made and served tea at the wake, you were all so kind.

Also thank you to the staff based in the Trauma Ward of Craigavon Area Hospital for the care they showed dad in his final days and to Abbey Court Surgery and especially Dr Katharine Marshall for the care and commitment she showed dad over many months.

Special word of thanks to Father Peter McAnenly for his presence during the wake and for the comforting funeral mass. Thank you to Cathy and Patricia for the beautiful singing and accompanying music.

Also thank you to Armagh City Hotel for the meal after the funeral and Trimprint Ltd for providing the order of service booklets.

Finally, thank you to Martin Kelly for the professional and dignified manner in which he carried out the funeral arrangements.

Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement of the family’s deep appreciation to everyone.

Dad’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Monday May 16, at 7.30pm in St Patrick’s Cathedral Armagh.
