Acknowledgement for the late John Guy (Keady)

Guy, John.

Keady formerly Dublin. Feb 21, 2026 in a tragic road traffic accident.

We the family of John can not adequately express in words our appreciation and thanks to the many people who rallied around us and supported us in our incomprehensible grief.

Special thanks to the First Responders, Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, PSNI and the individuals who attended John and the other victims at the time of the accident, your bravery and compassionate efforts will forever be appreciated.

Thanks to all those who attended the wake and funeral, brought masscards, messaged or posted online their expressions of sympathy, we will in time get round to reading them all but it was comforting to know peoples care and sympathy for us.

Thanks also to the individuals who brought gifts of food to the house and to M&Ps chipshop in Keady who brought much appreciated hot food. Gratitude to the priests of Keady parish, Canon Sean ONeill who visited the wake house and prayed with us and to Rev Fr Aidan McCann who celebrated a very personal funeral mass.

Thanks also to Catherine and Dermot for the beautiful music which added so much and to the Sacriston team for preparing the church. Finally to Bridget and BJ from Mone funeral Directors for the complete compassionate and professional handling of all the funeral arrangements.

Whilst there are many individuals who could be named in this acknowledgement we hope you know that your presence and efforts did not go unnoticed.

John’s month mind mass will be celebrated in St Patrick’s Church Keady on Sunday 28thMarch at 6:30pm
