Cassidy, John.
The Cassidy family wish to express our sincere and heartfelt appreciation to all those who extended their sympathy and support to us following the heartbreaking passing of our beloved John.
We have been deeply touched by the kindness and generosity of friends, neighbours, work colleagues and local politicians who visited our home, attended the funeral, sent Mass or sympathy cards and flowers, offered messages of support, or provided assistance in any form. This has been a source of great comfort to our family during this incredibly difficult time.
We would like to thank Father Brian Fitzpatrick PP for his kindness, spiritual guidance and for officiating the beautiful Requiem Mass. His thoughtful and reflective words truly captured the essence of the wonderful person John was, bringing comfort to our family and all who gathered to remember him. Our thanks also go to the pallbearers, sacristans, altar servers and Niamh Murray for her musical contribution that was so special and meaningful.
We also want to extend our sincere appreciation to the PSNI officers from Lurgan and Ambulance crews for their professionalism and compassion. Their kindness, and understanding has meant more to us than words can express.
We would also like to thank the Directors and staff of ABC Community Network and Dunlewey Services for their support and thoughtfulness, and it brings us great comfort to know that John was greatly valued and respected by his work colleagues.
Additionally, we wish to thank Sarsfields GAA for their support and to Pauline Skelton and the Hall Committee for the beautiful catering. The ongoing support of the members of the Sarsfields and the Bay Hall Clubs and the local community is deeply appreciated.
We would also like to express our sincere thanks to McAlinden and Murtagh Funeral Directors for their endless compassion, guidance, and professionalism during an extremely difficult time.
John was the most thoughtful, warm and caring son, brother and uncle and knowing how much he was loved and valued means so much to us. The support we have received has given us strength and we will never forget the kindness shown by so many. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our profound gratitude.
John’s month’s Mind Mass will take place on Saturday 8 March at 6pm in St Mary’s Church, Derrytrasna.
