McKenna, Joe.
The family of the late Joe McKenna would like to express their sincere and heartfelt appreciation to all those who extended their sympathy, kindness and support during Joe’s illness and following his passing.
We wish to offer our special thanks to Abbey Court Surgery, Dougan’s Chemist Armagh, the Community Multidisciplinary Specialist Palliative Care Team, particularly the Armagh District Nursing Team, the Macmillan Nurses, and the Marie Curie Nurses.
Your collective dedication, care and support brought great comfort to Joe and to our family and will always be remembered with sincere gratitude.
A special word of thanks to St Patrick’s Grammar School, Armagh, and Madden GAA Club for the Guard of Honour they provided for Joe.
We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Madden GAA Club for their support during the wake and for the use of their equipment.
We would also like to thank Fr Giacomo for celebrating such a meaningful Requiem Mass, and the talented singers and musicians who made the service so special.
To our neighbours and friends who showed such kindness, support, and compassion throughout Joe’s illness and during our bereavement, we are truly grateful.
Our sincere thanks are extended to Hugo and the staff of J.J. McArdle & Sons for their compassion, guidance, and professionalism during what has been an extremely difficult time.
We also thank Tullysaran Community Centre for the use of their facilities and Orange Box Catering for providing the post-burial refreshments.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our profound gratitude and appreciation.
Please know that your support, prayers, and kindness have meant so much to us during this difficult time.
Joe’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, September 27, at 12.30pm in St Patrick’s Cathedral, Armagh.
