Keep up with Armagh i

Acknowledgement for the late Joanne McGinn (Armagh)

McGinn, Joanne. We the family of the late Joanne McGinn, her children Rachael, Xavier & Christabel, her partner Lindsay, her parents Frank & Una and her siblings Jamie & Marie and all the extended McGinn, Stockman & Hutchinson families would like to express our sincere gratitude to all our kind relatives, friends and neighbours who have supported us during our recent sudden bereavement.
To those near and far across the world who have made contact to show their support we thank you.
For all who have sent mass cards, sympathy cards, letters and flowers, we want to thank you for your kind words which will undoubtedly provide comfort in the months ahead.

We have been overwhelmed with the sense of community support and for that we thank you.
We offer our thanks to Dr Frances O’Hagan and all the medical and administrative staff of the Friary Surgery. Their assistance and kindness has been invaluable to us, before, during and after Joanne’s passing.

Thanks also goes to the staff at the Acute Medical Unit in Craigavon Area Hospital and also to the Macmillan nurses who showed great care and attention to Joanne and her family during her time with them.

A special word of thanks to Fr Peter McAnenly and the Armagh Parish. We were fortunate that Joanne’s cousin Fr Raymond Donnelly celebrated Joannes requiem mass and we have been greatly comforted by his words in Joannes eulogy.

To Cathy Kelly for her lovely voice and beautiful music, making the requiem mass both a remembrance and a celebration of Joanne’s life.
A thank you to Damian Toal and all at Armagh Scouts for their guard of honor. Joanne loved her time with you all.

To Joanne’s work colleagues and all at Armagh, Banbridge & Craigavon Council for your kind words and your assistance.

A special word of thanks to Martin Kelly Funeral Directors. Martin & Maeve have known Joanne for many years, and that love and friendship was evident in the professional and dignified manner, in which they carried out Joanne’s funeral.

As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement is taken as a gesture of our sincere appreciation.

Joanne’s Month Mind mass will be celebrated on Friday January 14, 2022 at 7.30pm mass in St Patrick’s Cathedral, Armagh.
