McParland, Jim. RIP

The family of the late Jim McParland would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who sympathised and supported our family on the recent bereavement of our dear father, father-in-law, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

Thank you to all who sent Mass and sympathy cards, attended the wake and funeral and to all who helped at the wake, your support has been invaluable.

Thank you to Father Clarke for such a beautiful Mass and to Father Sheehan and Father Fitzpatrick for calling at the house. To everyone who made the Mass a special celebration of Jim’s life.

Thank you to Dermot, Mairead, Hugh and all at Quinn Brothers for their care, support and guidance at such a difficult time.

Thank you to Nancy Hall and her girls for their excellent food and service in the Parochial Centre.

Special thanks to all the carers and nurses at the Sunflower Unit in Rosemount Care Centre who looked after Jim with love and dedication during his last years.

To Hamill’s Chemist and the Acute Care Team for their care and support.

At the risk of failing to mention someone we hope that this will be accepted by all as a sincere token of our gratitude, everyone’s kind words and gestures were very much appreciated.

Jim’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated at 7pm on Friday September 27, in St John the Baptist Church, Garvaghy Road, Portadown.

May Jim’s gentle soul rest in peace.
