McKee, James.
The family of the late James McKee (Segahan) who died 20th July 2026 have requested this acknowledgement is posted in appreciation and thanks to all who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement.
James wife Bernie, daughters Caroline, Donna & Paula and the extended family wish to thank all their wonderful family, friends and kind neighbours who rallied around sorting out practical things as well as emotional support at the sudden passing of James
To all those who attended the wake and funeral, brought mass and sympathy cards, sent messages or posted online their expressions of sympathy were very much appreciated.
Thanks to all who brought gifts of food to the wake house both individuals and to the many businesses and also to the ladies who worked tirelessly in the kitchen to serve the refreshments to the wake attendees.
No words seem adequate to express the sincere gratitude for the professional care dad receieved from the staff of the Renal Unit, Daisy Hill Hospital, Willowbank Surgery Keady and daddy carers especially Janet and the team from Connected Health. Also to the all the emergency services who attended daddy on the night of his passing.
Massive thanks also to the priest of the nearby parishes particularly Canon Sean O’Neill and Fr Greg Carvill who presided over a very fitting and personal funeral mass.
Thanks also to Ameila McCormack for the wonderful music which added so much to the celebration of the mass and to the Sacriston team for preparing the church.
Sincere thanks to the groups of family, friends and neighbours who honoured us with carrying dad’s coffin.
Finally to Bridget and team from Mone funeral Directors for the professional and Compassionate handling of all the funeral arrangements, who also where a enormous support to the family. To Richard the gravedigger and to Ballymacnab hall for the use of their facilities to host the post burial meal kindly provided by McEntee’s catering services.
At the risk of failing to mention someone we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a sincere token of our appreciation.
James month mind mass will be held in St Patrick’s Church Ballymacnab on Saturday, August 22, at 6:30pm
