Acknowledgement for the late James Magee (Lurgan)

Magee, James.

The family of the late James (Jimmy) Magee (RIP) would like to express our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement. To his kind neighbours and friends from Arthur Street, Levin Road and Manor Drive, all who attended and/or helped during the wake and the funeral, sent Mass / Sympathy cards, brought or sent gifts of food and flowers, telephoned, posted, or messaged through social media, your condolences were greatly appreciated.

Our gratitude is extended to Jimmy’s carers, the doctors and personnel at the Old School House Surgery, Lurgan along with the staff at Craigavon Area Hospital for their compassionate care as well as to Sean & the team at McKeagney’s Chemist.

Our absolute thanks to Fr Kingsley Idoghor and Deacon Kevin Devine for the Requiem Mass and for their presence at St Colman’s Cemetery. The funeral was greatly enhanced by the Mass Booklets prepared by Tony & Aileen at Patton Print, the music/singing provided by Niamh Murray and those who participated in and/or attended the service whether physically, in spirit or via the parish webcam.

Finally, to Jack and Margaret and everyone at McLearnon’s Funeral Directors together with Kieran at the graveside for managing the undertaking arrangements with such professionalism and dignity.
It is not possible to thank everyone individually but we hope this acknowledgement is accepted as a sincere token of our appreciation.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Jimmy’s Month Mind Mass will be held at 7pm on Saturday April 20, in St Paul’s Church, Lurgan.
