We the family of the late Immaculata O’Donnell RIP would like to express our sincerest gratitude and appreciation for the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us following the sad loss of our beloved sister, aunt and great aunt . A heartfelt thank you to all our families, friends and neighbours for their help and support during and after her passing.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all those who called to the house, phoned, sent mass cards, letters of sympathy, attended the funeral Mass in person and travelled afar to be with us. Thanks to all those who supported us during the wake by helping serve refreshments and who brought and prepared food.
Sincere thanks to the Ann’s Care Home, Dungannon for special needs for their professionalism , kindness, love and support to Immaculata during her stay there. Many thanks to the Acute Care Team for their dedicated care and professionalism to Immaculata particularly during her last few days. Thank you to the Appleby Centre, Armagh where Immaculata enjoyed many happy years.
Our thanks to Father Barry Matthews, Father David Nugent , Armagh, and Father Manu , Dungannon, for their pastoral care to Immaculata. Thanks to Father Brendan Gallagher for celebrating the funeral Mass. Thanks to everyone who participated in the funeral Mass and to Amelia Murphy for her beautiful singing and music.
A special thanks to Paul Mohan the funeral director and his wife Yvonne who helped the family immensely through this difficult and sad time of Immaculata’s passing.
Many thanks to the grave diggers who prepared Immaculata’s final resting place.
Thanks to the Rusk’s Restaurant, Fivemiletown, for providing the food after the funeral service.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation.
Immaculata, who was predeceased by her mother Dympna and her father Gerard, will be greatly missed by her many friends and relatives particularly her sisters, Maria, Catherine, Anne, Joan, Geraldine, her brother Fergus, her nephews and nieces, great nephews and nieces and extended family.
Immaculata’s Months Memory Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph’s Church, Coonian on Sunday 27th September 2026 at 10.00am.
