Acknowledgement for the late Imelda Smyth (Armagh)

Smyth, Imelda (Armagh). Imelda’s son and daughter wish to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to all who sympathaised with them during their sad loss.

To all our wonderful family, friends and kind neighbours. Whose help was invaluable over the wake and funeral and indeed throughout mum’s life.

To those who attended the wake, funeral brought mass/sympathy cards and floral tributes.

Special thanks to the many individuals and businesses who brought food to the house.

And all those who made contributions in lieu of flowers to Apostolic Works Armagh, we are most grateful.

We wish to express our thanks to the wonderful care our mother received at home and in hospital, the doctors and nurses in Craigavon Area Hospital and the Royal Victoria Hospital Belfast trauma and ICU unit and to the careers from Clogher valley, Thank you.

Thanks also to McKeever’s chemists in Railway Street, and Armagh Harps GFC.

We are incredibly grateful to our parish priest Fr Emmanuelle for officiating a very personal and fitting requiem mass.

Thanks to Cathy Kelly for her wonderful signing and Roger the Sacristan for preparing the chapel, we also thank all those who contributed to the funeral mass in anyway.

Finally, to Martin Kelly Funeral Director’s for the compassionate and professional handing of all mum’s funeral arrangements.

Imelda’s months mind mass will be held on Friday August 19, at 7.30pm in St Patrick’s Cathedral Armagh and all are welcome.
