We the family of the late Hilda Irwin would like to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to all our family, friends and neighbours who sympathised with us during our recent sad bereavement.
We are also incredibly thankful to everyone who called at the house, telephoned, brought cards, gifts, flowers, donations in lieu of flowers, or attended mummy’s funeral service, and for the many stories and memories that were shared over the days of the wake.
Our sincerest thanks to the staff of A & E & High dependency at Daisy Hill Hospital for the kindness and compassion shown to mummy during her short stay in hospital.
A special thank you to the Rev Alan Synott for his pastoral care and support during mummy’s final days and for conducting the Service of Thanksgiving for mummy’s life.
A huge thank you to Gavin, Declan and staff of George Preston’s Funeral Home. Your compassion, advice and professionalism shown during this sad time has been so greatly appreciated.
And finally, many thanks to Canal Court for the beautiful meal after the funeral service.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
The Irwin Family.
