Acknowledgement for the late Henrietta Anne ‘Netta’ McBennett (Moy)

Death Notice Armagh I

McBennett, Henrietta Anne.

The husband (Paul) and family of the late Henrietta Anne ‘Netta’ McBennett would like to express our heartfelt thanks and sincere appreciation to all who sympathised with us during our recent sad bereavement of our loving mother, grandmother & great grandmother.

We are most grateful to our wider family, friends and neighbours for their kindness and support.

We would like to thank everyone who called to the house, telephoned, sent mass and sympathy cards, messages, flowers, and donations to Marie Curie, and to those who attended the wake and funeral. Your thoughtfulness brought us great comfort and strength at such a difficult time.

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to the staff at the Moy Health Centre for all their support over the years.
Thank you to the staff of McKeevers Chemist, Moy.

We are especially grateful to the carers who cared for Netta with such kindness, compassion, dignity and respect and whom have become extended family over the last few years.

A special word of thanks to the Acute Care at Home team in the Southern Trust area who cared for Netta in her last 2 weeks. We are indebted to your medical support & personal support during Netta’s illness, and to your kindness and compassion afterwards.

We also pay tribute to the management and nursing staff of Marie Curie who provided fantastic nursing care, support and respite for the family in Netta’s last few days.

A word of thanks to Father McHugh and Father Hughes for their support throughout this difficult time, and to Father Thomas McHugh, Father Dermot McCaul and Fr Garret Campbell and for the beautiful Requiem Mass celebrating Netta’s life. To McBennett sisters, the Mallon sisters, Edendork, Rory Madden and Sinead Willox for providing beautiful music and singing, thank you so much.

Thank you to all who participated during the mass ceremony in readings, prayers of the faithful and bringing gifts to the altar. A special thank you to Cate McQuade (McBennett) for her sensitive approach in reciting a moving reflection and tribute to Netta’s life during the Mass.

Thanks to everyone who brought food and equipment to the house and funeral home. Your generosity was overwhelming and appreciated. Thanks to Suzanne and her team at the Ryandale, Moy for the beautiful funeral lunch and attentiveness.

Thanks to Brian and Davy Nugent for preparing the grave and the great help and support they gave during the burial ceremony. Thanks to the sacristan (Kay Duffy) for preparing the chapel.

A very special word of thanks to Benedict J Martin & Son Funeral Services for the compassionate and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements, and the support and guidance they gave the family throughout.

We would especially like to give our condolences to the family of the late Benny Martin on his sad passing. Benny himself, although being ill, spent time with the family before and after Netta’s death and during the wake and we will never forget that.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation and gratitude.

Netta’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 7th November at 7.00pm, in St. John’s, Moy.

Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. St Martin pray for her.
