McCarney, Gerry. Maura, Fergal and the entire family circle of the late Gerry wish to express their sincere thanks to all who sympathized with them on their recent bereavement. Our thanks are extended to the medical staff who cared for Gerry during his five years of treatment, the doctors and nurses of Lineside Health Centre, the oncology department in the City Hospital Belfast and the staff of the AMU at Craigavon hospital.
A special thanks to Fr Eugene O’Neill PP for his spiritual support, guidance and celebrating the beautiful Requiem Mass. Thanks to Plunkett McGartland, the McGuckin and Brolly families for the uplifting music as well as the sacristan and those who prepared the grave.
Our thanks also go to Dorman Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
The family wish to thank the kind relatives, friends, neighbours and wider community who helped them during this difficult time. Thanks to Niall McKearney and the staff of the Gables Restaurant for the hospitality and food served after the funeral.
The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of everyone.
The Months Mind Mass for Gerry will be celebrated on Saturday October 1 at 6.00pm in the Church of the Holy Family, Coalisland.
