McCann, Gerard. The family of the late Gerard (Gerry) McCann, R.I.P, wish to express our sincere appreciation to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.

We would like to offer our sincere and heartfelt thanks to our family, friends and neighbours who helped in many ways during the wake and funeral. Thanks to everyone who called to the house, sent cards, messages of sympathy and flowers.

Thanks to Altamuskin Community Centre for the use of the hall facilities throughout and all those who donated and served refreshments.

A special thanks to Errigal Ciaran GAC who helped throughout the wake and funeral, providing invaluable help and assistance. Their support will never be forgotten by our family.

We would like to thank all those who cared for Daddy, including Corkhill Nursing Home and the Carers, Nurses and Staff of Copperfield’s Nursing Home. We are forever grateful for the care and support Daddy received and also the emotional support provided to the family in the last few weeks of Daddy’s life.

A special word of thanks to Fr Michael O’Dywer for his spiritual support and beautiful Requiem Mass celebrating Daddy’s life.

Thanks to everyone who assisted with the Mass, especially Bronagh and Colleen Broderick, Catherine Burns and Ellen Neill for the beautiful music.

Thank you to Paudge Quinn for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the grave diggers who prepared Daddy’s final resting place.

Thanks to Quinn’s Corner for providing refreshments after the Funeral Service.

To everyone who helped out in any way, please accept this as a gesture of our deepest gratitude.
