Acknowledgement for the late Francis ‘Frank’ McAlinden (Armagh)

McAlinden, Francis (Frank)

The Family of the late Francis (Frank) McAlinden wish to express our sincere appreciation and thanks to our extended family, Friends, Colleagues and Neighbours that have helped us through the challenging days, weeks and months preceding Franks untimely death.

To all those that contacted us, then and since, it was also particularly challenging when we couldn’t hold a normal wake to hear the stories and comfort us in our time of need and just get you through the pain. To all those that sent cards and messages of support and still are, thank you all, for your kindness, thoughtfulness and generosity.

To all those that attended and helped with the funeral mass, For the beautiful singing and music; we thank The Clonmore Choir and accompanying musicians, as Gerard Cunningham Kindly reminded us, (we are sending off one of our own).

We are very grateful to Marian Daly and the dedicated team in The Ryandale Moy, they stepped up when needed at short notice and provided an excellent meal on the day of the funeral, nothing was a problem to Marian. The McElvogue Brothers at K C Marquees, for providing the Marquee at the funeral.

Sincere thanks and appreciation to Dermot, Hugh and their team at Quinn Bros. Undertakers, Portadown, for the professional, dignified and caring manner in which they carried out our Frank’s preparation, removal and funeral.
To Brian Nugent for his work at the grave and his brother Davey for helping then and again later.

A special word of thanks to Dean Donaghy PP Dungannon for his compassion, kindness and support at this sad time. To Deirdre McNally and Mary Hampsey for the Chapel preparations.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation to you all, we have been so grateful for all your support.

Frank’s First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated in The Sacred Heart Church, Clonmore, Co.Armagh BT71 6HX on Sunday November 27 at 3pm.
