Acknowledgement for the late Fintan Campbell (Armagh)

Death Notice Armagh I

Campbell, Fintan (Armagh). Fintan’s wife Brenda, and sons Aidan and Declan wish to thank all those who sympathised with them during their sad bereavement.

To all our wonderful family, friends and neighbours whose help was invaluable during Fintan’s illness, wake and funeral.

We thank all those who attended the wake/funeral, brought mass/sympathy cards, telephoned or messaged and those who posted condolences online. We are very grateful to those who helped us to raise £645 for Southern Area Hospice.

We also acknowledge with gratitude the many services involved in caring for Fintan. In particular, we would like to thank the staff from the Archway and Abbey Court Surgeries, McKeever’s Chemist, Craigavon Area Hospital, Daisy Hill Hospital, the Palliative Care Team, Rapid Response Team, Marie Curie, Ann’s Home Care, the Ambulance Service and Southern Area Hospice.

We thank Fr Peter McAnenly for celebrating a beautiful funeral mass, and would also like to thank him and Fr. Barry Matthews for their support and prayers.

Many thanks to Marie Fairon and Patricia Hagan for the beautiful singing and music, and to all those who took part in the funeral Mass.

A special expression of gratitude to Hugo McArdle, his wife Sharon and the staff of JJ McArdle and Sons Funeral Directors for their dignified, caring and professional manner in which Fintan’s funeral arrangements were carried out and to the grave digger.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we trust this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Fintan’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday January 28, at 6.30pm in St. Patrick’s Cathedral Armagh.
