Scullion, Eugene.

We, the family of the late Eugene Scullion (1 Gortview Manor Coalisland), would like to take the opportunity to sincerely thank everyone who expressed condolences and offered support on the loss of our much loved husband, father, brother and uncle.

A special word of thanks to our extended family, friends and neighbours for the enormous amount of help and support during Eugene’s illness, wake, funeral and the subsequent weeks.

We want to give a special mention to all the staff at the City Hospital Belfast and Craigavon Hospital who provided wonderful care for Eugene during his illness. Also to Lilac Cancer Support for their help and assistance.

A word of appreciation also to Fr Eugene O’Neill for the beautiful funeral mass and prayers. Thanks to Fr. Eastwood who tended to Eugene while in City Hospital during his illness. Also, thanks to the sacristan and the gravediggers. A special thanks to The Hanna Sisters for the beautiful singing & music they provided at Eugene’s Funeral service.

We would like to extend our gratitude and sincere appreciation to Peter Devlin of M. Dorman Funeral Directors for the attentive and dignified manner that the funeral arrangements were conducted and for their support and guidance.

Thanks to Maghery GAC, Coalisland Fianna GFC, Loughgall Golf Club, Coalisland CPC Bowling Club and Torrent Darts League for forming a guard of honour at the funeral and all who carried him to his final resting place.

A special thanks to everyone who visited the house, left food, sent sympathy cards, sent letters, made donations to charity, messaged/called and all who attended Eugene’s wake and funeral.

There is no way we could possibly thank everyone individually so please accept this acknowledgment as a heartfelt thank you from the Scullion Family.
