McGivern, Eileen.
We, the Family of the late Eileen McGivern would like to express our deepest gratitude to all who sympathised with us following our sad loss.
To all our wonderful family, kind friends, neighbours and colleagues whose support and comfort was invaluable over the wake and funeral and indeed throughout Eileen’s life. Thank you for the many stories and the memories you shared, for all the kind gifts of food, including Cordelia’s and A Piece of Cake and for the donations made to Cancer NI, all of which were greatly appreciated.
We wish to offer a heartfelt Thank You to all who took care of Eileen including the GPs of Dundalk Street Surgery Newtownhamilton, the district nurses of Markethill, the medical and nursing staff in Ward 3 Daisy Hill Hospital & the Mandeville Unit in Craigavon Area Hospital and the staff of Ann’s Home Care all of whom attended so respectfully and compassionately to Eileen throughout the past couple of years.
The funeral mass was a lovely celebration of Eileen’s life and we are grateful to Father Carvill for his beautiful homily, Cathy and Patricia for the lovely music and singing which we know Eileen would have enjoyed, the Gravedigger and the Sacristan for preparing the grave and the chapel so attentively.
A special word of thanks to the children from St. Michael’s PS & Darkley PS and to the children representing the Shamrock Gaels and Clady GFC for their thoughtful and respectful Guard of Honor. To Clady GFC for the set up and use of their facilities and to Mones of Keady for the lovely food and excellent service provided following the funeral mass.
We extend our appreciation to JJ McArdle Funeral Directors for their compassion, guidance and professionalism throughout this difficult time.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere gratitude.
Eileen’s Month Mind mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 20th January at 7.30pm in St. Michael’s Church, Clady.
