Keep up with Armagh i

Acknowledgement for the late Eileen Mallon (Tynan)

Mallon, Eileen. (Tynan). Eileen’s family, Eilish, Brian, Aidan, Ciaran, Deirdre, her sister Kathleen, brother’s Frank and Paul, along with the extended family would like to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those who supported us in our recent bereavement of a much loved mother, grandmother, mother in law, sister and friend.

Our deep appreciation and sincere gratitude goes to our extended family, friends and neighbours, for all their help, kindness and support during this difficult time.

Thanks to Middletown G.A.A. who organised the car parking and for their guard of honour at the funeral.

Also to Paddy Mone and Barry Hughes for your help at the home. We are truly indebted to you all.

Thanks to all who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, messages of condolences, brought food, sent floral tributes, those who visited the home and attended the funeral.

Thanks to the Doctors and Nurses of The Friary Surgery Armagh, the Paramedics and staff of Craigavon Area Hospital for their exceptional care and attention given to Eileen.

A sincere expression of gratitude is extended to Rev Fr Sean Moore for his comfort, prayers and support during Eileen’s final hours and for his very touching and personal homily and Requiem Mass.

We would also like to thank Rev Fr Peter McAnenly for his support and prayers.

Many thanks to all who participated in the Funeral Liturgy, the sacristan Michael and to Catherine Grimley Hughes and Dermot McCusker for the beautiful singing and music.

To Armagh Blooms for the beautiful flower arrangements, thank you.

Many thanks to Eamon, Martin and Patrick of EC Hughes Funeral Directors for the professional and compassionate way they attended to all the funeral arrangements.

Thanks to our cousins and friends who prepared Eileen’s grave for her final resting place.

We also thank McEntee’s Catering for the refreshments after the funeral and a special thanks to Gerald and the Market House Committee for preparing the hall.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

We have lost a dear Mother, but we have been comforted by your prayers and support.

“The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all”.

Eileen’s Month’s Mind Mass will be on Saturday December 31, at 12noon in St John’s Chapel, Middletown
