Acknowledgement for the late Dolores McBennett (Moy)

McBennett, Dolores.

The family of the late Dolores McBennett have requested this acknowledgement is posted in gratitude and appreciation.

Dolores’ brothers John and Brendan, sisters Patricia and Collette and the entire family circle wish to thank all those who sympathised with them during their sad bereavement of a much loved sister, aunt and friend to very many people.

To all our wonderful family, friends and kind neighbours whose help and support was invaluable over the wake and funeral and indeed throughout Dolores’ life.

Thanks to all who attended the wake and funeral, brought mass cards, sympathy cards, telephoned, messaged or posted online their condolences we assure you these were greatly appreciated.

We thank everyone for their kind donations to our chosen charity. We thank also the many individuals who brought gifts of food to the wake .

We extend sincere gratitude to Doctor Colleran and the nursing staff in Moy Health Centre who cared for Dolores.

No words seem adequate to thank the priests of the parish and in particular Fr Thomas McHugh for his prayerful presence at the home and for celebrating a very personal and fitting funeral Mass.

Thanks also to Catherine and Dermot for providing the music which enhanced the Mass and to the sacristan for preparing the church and Danny the altar server.

Finally to the gravedigger for preparing Dolores’ final resting place and to Mone Funeral Directors for the complete, responsive and professional handling of all the funeral arrangements in such a dignified and compassionate manner.

At risk of failing to mention someone we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a sincere token of our appreciation.

Dolores’ month mind Mass will be held in St John The Baptist Moy on Thursday January 18, at 7pm.
